In this episode I chat with Dawn from the band Fireflight about the We Love Awards, if this new single is a part of an upcoming album and what it's like being back in Nashville after moving to New Mexico for a few years. After that you can hear the very first Instagram Live chat in Broken Record history as I catch up with Jeremy Dunn of the band Nine Lashes to as him why the bands album album contained no rock music, just how heavy this up coming record will be and when we might be expecting this new album so we can judge for ourselves. Both singles from Nine Lashes and Fireflight can be purchased on iTunes and requested on Broken FM at www.broken.fm

A few years ago Ronnie Winter from The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus joined me on the radio show to explain why all of the sudden they were being marketed to Christian radio. He told us his story that sounds familiar to many of us why claim to be a person of faith. He like me and many others went through a period of being a knucklehead that is otherwise known as your 20's. Time and age have worked their magic but Ronnie and the band the band are still putting out some great music. In this episode we'll here the brand new single, he'll give clues on when we might hear more on a new record and where he wants to see me on the bands nationwide tour. Ronnie will be back after the release of the record to go through it on the show in depth and his wife who is also his producing partner might even jump on with us to give us her persspective.

Kevin Young from the band Disciple has been on with me more than once over the years on the Broken Record radio show and it seems to always be around the NFL playoffs or the Super Bowl. The tradition has contiuned on this episode where he joins me to talk football, City Rock Fest, their new album and somehow we even talk about nude beaches. Also in this episode I will also be playing some clips from some very little known(maybe for the better) songs from Disciple along with their last number 1 song on the Billboard charts. If you are a football fan you'll enjoy this pre-Super Bowl show but if you're now just skip the first 10:30 of the interview segment and it won't hurt my feelings. This has been one of my very favorite episodes so far so I hope you enjoy it.

In this episode Drew aka The Dirty Christian joins me to talk about where The Dirty Christian came from, where it's going and we talk about just how wild it is to have teenage children that for better or worse will be legal adults soon. You can follow The Dirty Christan on Facebook, Youtube and subscribe to the podcast. Also make sure you subscribe to The Broken Record Podcast.

I saw Sleeping Giant for the first time back in 2009 on the Scream the Prayer Tour and heard Tommy Green tell his story. It's now several years later and as Sleeping Giant is getting ready to release their final record "I Am" on January 26th Tommy joined me from the airtport on his way to Christmas Rock night in Germany. He will tell his story in a lot more depth and share share how life as a dad, pastor and bank manager all contributed to the direction Sleeping Giant would go as a band and how the lyrics he'd right would serve as a diary of sorts through good times and bad. In the end they're going out on their terms.

In this episode I play probably the most punk rock band I've ever played, Jeff the Girl from Five Iron Frenzy joins me to talk about their upcoming show in San Francisco and Matt Baird from Spoken comes back onto the show to talk about the record he was crowdfunding in Episode 1. Joseph Rojas calls into the interview line to tell me just how personal their new record, "Found"  is to him and his family.

She is now doing the solo thing as Zahna and has a great new single that she will be joining me to talk about. Matt and Dave from Wavorly call in to talk about Wavorly coming back from the dead(kind of) and the show in Tupelo that could have sunk the whole thing.

In this episode Josh Clifton from the band RavenHill joins me from the Audiofeed Festival to talk about what I'm missing from not being there and also about what he thinks about the recent trend of more and more swearing in Christian music. Kevin from New Release Today also joins me to talk about swearing also but we also talk about where NRT came from and where it's going next.

In this episode J.R. from the band Love and Death joins me to talk about the status of their latest record and whether he is still in the band Islander.
